Yahoo! Answers: Coffee Break

It appears that Yahoo! answers is currently running into some issues. But for all you Yahoo! Answers junkies dont get too worked up. The Answers team are on it and checking in on things. Here is quote from the blog post:

As you may know from the occasional “we’re taking a breather/coffee break” messages, we have been experiencing some glitches recently on Yahoo! Answers. We’re working on the problem now and hope to have it fixed soon.

We know how frustrating this can be and we apologize for the inconvenience. We appreciate your patience while we continue to make improvements to Answers.

Yahoo! Messenger Mac Version Updated

Yahoo! Music Store Closing

Just as the headline reads folks. The Yahoo! Music store is now shutting the doors. It is urging its customers to burn their purchased music to CD. Which for all of you that have paid for this service, i would suggest doing that pronto!! You wont be able to share music either, from what I understand however they will be teaming up with Rhapsody. Which I don’t know why, they could have gone for a better situation if you ask me. Rhapsody. seriously.. gross..

Adobe, Google, Yahoo Team Up for Flash Search

In a move long in the Making, Adobe Systems is teaming up with Search Engine leaders to make Flash content more Searchable. This should have quite the impact on a lot of sites that are now having to clone content in order for them to rank anywhere in the search engines. Although I doubt that it will be as good. My advice is to stick w/ duplicating content from flash to html form and cloaking the content based on user agent / ip address.

Yahoo! Messenger Update for Vista

The Yahoo! messenger team has released an update for Yahoo! Messenger for Windows Vista. The primary focus in this update is bug and crash fixes along with some enhancements to the user interface in hopes to make it a little more intuitive. Changes were made to text formatting, voice improvements and they are still working on webcam support.
